Joan Painter Jones works with whatever materials that inspire her. She has worked with watercolor, oils, and acrylics on paper, on gauze, woven cloth, and with newspaper scraps. She has also created textures and images in collages on paper, wood, and canvas, and assemblages from found objects and clay. “My work is not political, but personal.” Joan has won many awards in juried shows both national and international,and her work can be found in many corporate and private collections.
