Fused Glass Dishware & Jewelry Steve Palmer specializes in fused glass dishware, decorative pieces, and jewelry that explodes with vivid color. Tamarack Gallery has represented Steve’s work for over ten years. When not working with glass, Steve is the principal of an elementary school in the Detroit area. "Glass shares a unique relationship with civilization, from the most practical of uses to the most colorful of art forms. My work combines the bright colors of glass with utilitarian form. Using warm glass techniques (kiln work) and unique designs, my pieces are made to be displayed, used, or worn. With twenty-five years of experience, I still find the medium rewarding to work with and a constant challenge to create in new and larger ways." |
